About The SET Awards
The Science, Engineering & Technology Student of the Year Awards are established as Britain's most important awards for science and engineering undergraduates and are also open to students studying at universities in the Republic of Ireland.
If you are a student or a lecturer at a British or Irish university, then this site will give you details of how to enter, plus any other information you may need about the awards. We only accept entry for the awards electronically on this website. Please go to 'Entries' to enter for an award.

The Awards are presented at a magnificent ceremony before an audience comprising of hundreds of technology students, academics, senior industry executives; as well as senior figures from government, scientific and technical institutions and the media.
The 2008 Science, Engineering and Technology Student of the Year Awards Gala Dinner and Presentation Ceremony takes place on the evening of Friday, 26th September at the Royal Lancaster, London.
The most outstanding student is declared the GKN Science, Engineering & Technology Student of the Year. This award is sponsored by GKN (www.gknplc.com) and is given to the highest scoring winner of all the previous categories.
